I have lived on the East Coast for most of my life, but I decided to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue my acting career. I know that this is cliche and many people come here for that without succeeding, but I really believe that I have a chance. When I was trying to figure out the best place, I decided that Studio City was exactly the type of neighborhood I wanted to live in. It seems as if all parts of LA have their own distinct personalities, and this one speaks to me more than all of the rest. My family is rather well-off, so I knew that I would be able to get them to help me financially until I got on my feet. My goal was to find a neighborhood that was not as worn out as Compton or certain parts of Hollywood, yet it was not as upscale as trying to live in Beverly Hills or something like that. Since I will be a “struggling” actor, I do not want to have the whole world look at me as a spoiled rich kid that is only doing this for kicks.
